Legacy Trust Advisors is the registered investment advisory division of Champion Capital Corporation. We make institutional investment managers available to advisory clients at low cost. Legacy Trust Advisors provides research, recommendations, and guidance in the selection and continuing evaluation of these managers.

Traditionally, institutional money management has been available only to those who place multi-million dollar amounts with each manager. The potential advantages of institutional money management arrangements are many, including customized portfolios, tax-efficiency, low expense ratios, low portfolio turnover, and personal relationships with knowledgeable advisors. It is reasonable to expect superior performance as a result. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results but, overall, the track records are quite impressive.

Most prospective clients are familiar with commission-based stockbrokers and retail mutual funds. Many are unfamiliar with institutional investment managers and advisors who work strictly on a fee-for-service basis like we do. The fee is a percentage of assets under management. This compensation arrangement aligns our interests closely with the interests of our clients. Commissions often do the opposite

Another type of private advisory account is the "Illiquid Asset Advisory Account." Legacy Trust Advisors may be able to help you if you need guidance and assistance in obtaining liquidity from securities with limited marketability such as Section 144 stock or thinly traded corporate securities. We also assist with assets other than securities, including real estate and business interests. Creative strategies are designed for the specific situation.

Legacy Trust Advisors serves as a fiduciary investment advisor for numerous irrevocable trusts administered under the laws of Delaware. The wishes and instructions of the trust maker in the trust agreement guide the nature of the trust investments. This type investment advisory account is critically important in connection with some estate planning strategies we bring to the attention of our clients.
